Contrary to the popular perception that IITians
do not give enough back to society, students at
IIT Bombay have come up with their own
unique way of spreading environmental
awareness.
With the backing of an institute that boasts of
momentous research in the development of
eco-friendly technology, these students are
willing to step beyond mere academic pursuits.
The IIT Bombay Green Campus Initiative was
launched a year ago with the objective of
transforming the institution of world-class
repute into a futuristic model of ecological
sustainability and energy efficiency.
